Motorola is working on a new smartphone with the model number XT2607. This was just certified for sale in Brazil by Anatel. According to an earlier leak by Evan Blass, this device is codenamed Terrain26, though other information about it hasn’t been leaked yet.

That, unfortunately, means we don’t know its commercial name. However, thanks to the Brazilian certification, we do know that it has 5G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 6E, NFC, and a 6,500 mAh battery (with a rated capacity of 6,325 mAh). The phone will support 90W wired charging as well as wireless charging.

All of these specs make it easy to speculate that the handset will be upper-midrange at least, but perhaps not quite a flagship (since those would be expected to support Wi-Fi 7 in this day and age). It’s easy to place it in the Edge 70 family too – but what is it going to be? The Edge 70 Neo perhaps? Or the Edge 70 Pro? Time will tell. Stay tuned and we’ll let you know when we find out more about it.
