Lenovo is back in the game – the Legion smartphone game, that is. The Y70 was the last Legion gaming phone and it launched in 2022, but now it’s back. Well, it will be next month. Lenovo has just announced that it’s launching a refreshed Y70 in May.
The company says it’s been receiving a lot of questions from fans about making new Legion phones, and all that interest has led to this project. The device will be called Y70 New Generation (machine translated from Chinese), and it will use AI to enhance gaming (of course). Here it is for your viewing pleasure.

If you were thinking “but that looks like a Motorola” – yes. It does. Lenovo owns Motorola, and it seems like it has decided to reuse its designs. The absolutely massive Legion branding can partially be seen on the back too – that will ensure no one actually thinks you have a Motorola if you buy this one.
This handset will naturally compete with RedMagic’s various offerings. Unfortunately, no specs for the new Y70 have been confirmed (or leaked yet, for that matter), so we don’t know if it’s going to be a flagship or not. Undoubtedly, more details will come out soon, so stay tuned.
