But even after the flypast concluded, Louis couldn’t help himself from turning around to give the crowd one last wave before Kate ushered him back into the palace.
“Over 1,000 soldiers, around 200 horses and approximately 300 musicians came together in a display of Military precision, horsemanship and fanfare to mark The King’s official birthday,” the royal family captioned a joint Instagram post after Trooping the Colour concluded. “And what a great way to conclude the celebrations, with a flypast from our friends @RAFRedArrows flying for the first time with a mix of sustainable aviation fuel.”
Earlier in the day, Louis and George—who wore coordinated navy blue suits and red ties—arrived at Buckingham palace by carriage. And while George kept his composure, Louis couldn’t help but flash the most adorable toothy grin.
