Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro sample photos appear

Shortly after Xiaomi confirmed the Xiaomi 15 Pro’s 6,100 mAh battery capacity and the upgraded 5x telephoto camera, the company shared a set of camera samples taken with the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro to show off the new camera capabilities.

The samples below are from the Xiaomi 15 Pro and its 50MP main camera and the new 50MP telephoto unit, which is a nice upgrade over the 3.2x telephoto shooter on the Xiaomi 14 Pro. It looks like the main camera will retain the f/1.4 aperture, while the telephoto snapper will get a fairly wide f/2.5 aperture.

Xiaomi is also proud of its AISP 2.0, an AI-aided image processing algorithm that reduces the processing time by 82% as well as improves image quality. That’s why Xiaomi posted two photos taken with the 3.2x telephoto on the smaller Xiaomi 15. One of the samples is a crop from the telephoto camera, reaching 5x zoom, which offers pretty solid quality.
