Samsung will launch a new flagship device with a thin body, the Galaxy S25 Edge. The announcement is scheduled for 9 AM Korea time, which is 5 PM on May 12 in the United States (Pacific Time), 1 AM in London, 2 AM in Berlin and Paris, and 5:30 AM in India.
There is a live stream for the event, which we embedded below.
The phone being announced at such an hour is because we expect Samsung to launch the Edge initially for Korea and China, and then it will follow with a second wave of countries, including broader international markets like Europe and Canada.
The S25 Edge was expected to be a mini variant, but it is actually a competitor to the yet-to-be-released iPhone 17 Air. It will have a screen comparable to the one on the Galaxy S25+ and will come with the same 200 MP main shooter as on the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

Reports suggested that Samsung will not join the hype of thin batteries with big capacity, and the Edge will likely get the smallest battery of the entire Galaxy range. We will follow the event, and once everything is confirmed, we’ll be ready with a report.
