Salem had better get ready. “Hurricane Sami” Brady will return to Days of Our Lives early in 2025.
Sami is one of those characters that people either love or hate. Whichever camp you fall into, there’s no denying that she brings the drama.
There’s no word yet on what her storyline will be, but does it really matter? Whatever over-the-top behavior or impulsive scheme Sami’s gotten herself into now will be a lot of fun!
Sami Left Town Because Of Lucas’ Nonsense
This Is A Chance To Correct That Character Assassinating Storyline
Sami left town heartbroken after learning that her one true love, Lucas, had orchestrated her kidnapping to ensure she’d be close to him when he rescued her.

That story was a huge slap in the face for Sami and Lucas shippers. We finally got our dream pairing, only for it to be torn apart in a matter of days by the reveal that Lucas was behind Sami’s abduction.
It was hypocritical on Sami’s part, too, because she’s done equally bad things, such as drugging Austin to get him away from her sister.
Lucas has done his time and left Salem to visit Will (who magically relocated from New Zealand to Phoenix, but that’s a rant for another day.)
How awesome would it be if Sami had planned a visit for the same time?
Of course, no one says Sami has to accept Lucas right away. It would be the worst type of tired TV trope if Sami and Lucas reconciled off-screen.
Once Hurricane Sami returns, though, all bets are off. Sami will make Lucas grovel, to put it mildly.
He’ll have to earn every bit of her forgiveness, but if the story goes that way, once he does, it will be one of the sweetest reunions in Days of Our Lives history.
How The Heck Will Hurricane Sami Deal With EJ?
These Two Have Had A Love/Hate Relationship Forever
It’s anyone’s guess whether EJ’s terrible luck will get worse or better when Hurricane Sami returns.

Sami left him on poor terms, and then he broke his life by pretending Nicole and Eric’s baby was his. Sami hates Nicole, but she loves Eric, so that’ll leave her unusually torn about whose side to be on here.
EJ deserves some seriously bad karma, and I’d love it if Sami dished it out!
Nicole left EJ for the same reason Sami did: he becomes seriously abusive when he doesn’t get his way.
No one knows that better than Sami, considering their relationship began with him forcing her to have sex with him to save Lucas’ life.
Supposedly, she forgave him a long time ago for a lot of his crap, but by the time Hurricane Sami returns, she might have changed her mind.
This is a complicated situation, and I can’t wait to find out what, if anything, Sami has in mind for EJ.
Only in Salem could EJ bounce back and forth between being lovers and enemies with women like Sami and Nicole, but that’s what makes this so fun.

It’s hard to imagine what Sami will do that is completely different from anything she’s done before, but it’ll be fun to find out!

According to Soap Opera Digest, actress Alison Sweeney was excited by the storyline she was pitched. A new team of writers recently took the helm, so I can’t wait to find out what they have in store for Sami.
Her scenes won’t air until early 2025, which gives us plenty of time to speculate about what Hurricane Sami will be up to this time.
