She sang a medley of Domenico Modugno’s Italian standard “Nel Blu, Dipinto di Blu,” commonly known as “Volare,” and “Nothing Is Impossible,” from her own 2025 album Here for It All. Legendary Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli also took take the stage during today’s ceremony, singing the aria “Nessun Dorma”. Carey has recently been honored with both the Video Vanguard Award at the 2025 MTV VMAs and MusiCares’ Person of the Year at the 2026 Grammys. In December, her modern Christmas staple “All I Want for Christmas Is You” became the longest-running No. 1 song in U.S. chart history.
