Jelly Roll was the first musical guest of Saturday Night Live’s landmark 50th season. He sang his recent single “Liar” and a new song called “Winning Streak.” Watch his performances, as well as his promotional video with host Jean Smart, below.
“Liar” and “Winning Streak” will appear on Jelly Roll’s forthcoming album, Beautifully Broken, which is due out on October 11. The album will be the Tennessee country singer’s third major-label effort, following 2021 breakout Ballads of the Broken and last year’s Whitsitt Chapel. Jelly Roll was among the nominees for Best New Artist at the 2024 Grammy Awards.
The 50th season of Saturday Night Live continues with musical guests Coldplay, Stevie Nicks, Billie Eilish, and Chappell Roan. In addition, Ariana Grande and John Mulaney are among the upcoming Saturday Night Live hosts.
