A. G. Cook played Coachella tonight (Friday, April 11). In the middle of his set, which drew heavily from Cook’s 2024 solo album Britpop, as well as Brat and it’s completely different but also still brat, Danny Brown appeared in a red telephone booth onstage. The Detroit rapper performed “Attak,” his 2014 collaboration with electronic producer Rustie, and laid down new bars over Charli XCX’s fan-favorite how i’m feeling now track “Party 4 U.” Scroll down to check out out footage from the set, and rewind the livestream below to watch the whole thing.
Danny Brown released his last studio album, Quaranta, in 2023. A noted hyperpop lover, he recently guested on Jane Remover’s song “Psychoboost” from their new record Revengeseekerz. Last year, Jane Remover also remixed “Shake It Like A,” Brown’s collaborative single with Frost Children.
