HBO’s ‘Harry Potter’ TV Show’s First Trailer Reveals Release Date and Full Cast Debut
Walker Scobell will not be giving anyone a corsage.
The Percy Jackson and the Olympians star called out supposed fans for death threats sent to teens they believed he might be bringing to prom. In fact, he also went out of his way to clarify his RSVP to the event.
“Just to let everyone know, I will not be attending prom,” Walker wrote in an April 12 Instagram Story. “Please stop sending death threats to EVERY teenage girl who could remotely be associated with me based on their proximity to where I live.”
Walker did not address specific claims, but he emphasized that it was “not fair” to the women in his life, or their families, to be on the receiving end of such behavior.
“Maybe also just stop sending death threats in general,” Walker continued. “That’s not cool. Kinda weird that I have to say this.”
Since taking on the titular role in the Disney+ series back in 2023, the 17-year-old has acknowledged that his life changed overnight in a way he didn’t fully expect.
