One of our readers tipped us off to the fact that ZTE has uploaded certification documents to its official site for a yet-to-be-unveiled model – the ZTE Blade A35e. This includes an EU Declaration of Conformity, which shows a photo of the new phone.
Based on the name, this is related to the ZTE Blade A35. However, its camera setup has a different layout. It looks like a single camera plus an LED flash. The current A35 includes some artifice – what appears to be a quad camera also has just a single lens and a flash.

Anyway, we took the model number of the ZTE Blade A35e (Z2466) and tried searching for it in the usual places. There are no benchmark results from it so far, but we don’t expect much from an entry-level phone.
We did find Wi-Fi and Bluetooth certifications for the A35e, though. It supports LTE and Wi-Fi 4 (n), the Bluetooth version is unknown at the moment. The phone was only tested with basic 5W adapters, so charging may be slower than even the current Blade A35, which is only rated for 10W charging for its 5,000mAh battery.
ZTE Blade A35e (Z2466) certificates
We expect that the ZTE Blade A35e will have a quiet launch, not unlike the A35 itself.
