The Oppo Pad 3 completed Oppo and MediaTek’s announcements today. The tablet serves as a more affordable alternative to the bigger, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-equipped Oppo Pad 3 Pro.
The Pad 3 comes in three colors, runs the new Dimensity 8350 chipset, and has an 11.61-inch 2000xx800px IPS LCD with a 144Hz refresh rate, a 480Hz touch sampling rate, and 700 nits of brightness.
The display has an anti-glare coating that Oppo says can reduce 97% ambient glare. It also supports Oppo’s Pencil 2, which the company will ship for free with a pre-order.
Oppo’s tablet is just 6.3mm thin and weighs 536 grams. Inside is a 9,520mAh battery, which takes 67W charging.
There are two 8MP cameras on each side of the Pad 3 – the front one is a 1080p-only unit, while the rear does 4K as well. The tablet is equipped with four speakers
The Oppo Pad 3 runs ColorOS 15 with Android 15 underneath. The 7:5 screen aspect is adept at running two apps side-by-side in landscape for multitasking, and there’s Oppo’s Circle to Search – you can get AI-powered answers if you circle content on the screen.
The Oppo Pad 3 comes in Sunshine Purple, Night Blue, and Star Track Bright Silver, and in a variety of RAM and storage combinations – 8/128GB, 8/256GB, 12/256GB, and 12/512GB. The starting price is CNY 2,099 (€275, INR 24,400, converted) for the 8/128GB model and CNY 3,099 (€400, INR 36,000) for the 12/512GB one. The Oppo Pad 3 could launch as the OnePlus Pad 2 Go in global markets.
