Chanel West Coast is incredulous about the end of Ridiculousness.
Days after MTV canceled the Rob Dyrdek-hosted clip show, the TV personality—who was a panelist on the series from 2011 to 2023—shared her thoughts on its demise.
“It’s sad. It’s the end of an era,” she said in an interview with TMZ published Nov. 4. “I truly felt like the world needed a show like that right now. It makes people laugh, it makes people happy and that’s what we need more of. It was not the best time for a show like that to go away.”
However, the 37-year-old (real name Chelsea Chanel Dudley) admitted the program’s DNA had changed after her departure.
“I don’t want to say I was shocked,” she noted. “It was a bit different since I left the show.”
Chanel—who is mom to daughter Bowie Breeze, 3, with boyfriend Dom Fenison—said goodbye to the show after appearing alongside Rob and Sterling “Steelo” Brim for 30 seasons, opting to pursue independent projects. Following her exit, she went on to star in the MTV docuseries The West Coast Hustle in 2024, and she’s currently working on several new projects as well.
