Oppo unveiled its Reno15 series to the global stage yesterday, and thanks to the miracle of international shipping, we’ve got the Reno15 Pro in the office and ready for testing!
This is the international version, which means it’s a 6.32-inch model that corresponds to the Indian Reno15 Pro Mini.
We have to say, the Reno15 Pro is a delight in the hands. Compact flagship-style phones don’t do too well on the market, but we still love them.
Ours is the Dusk Brown model, and it looks classy. There’s something Audi A6 Allroad about it, minus the grey plastic mudguards. Nearly the entire phone is matte, save for the camera island, which is part of the rear glass panel, but has a clear finish.
This is the Reno15 Pro, on the left, next to the Reno15 in Aurora White. You can see why it’s called Aurora from the photo – it has a light-reflecting texture on the back, which sparkles when hit by the light.

Despite its smaller size, the Oppo Reno15 Pro feels solid. That may have something to do with the 6,200mAh battery packed inside. It takes 80W charging, too.
The 6.32-inch screen is no slouch. It has the full set of high-end specs – 1 billion colors, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, nearly 2,000 nits of local brightness, the lot.
Speaking of stellar, the camera system on the Reno15 Pro leaves little to be desired. We’ll need to give it a thorough test, but the 200MP wide-angle and a trio of AF-capable zoom, ultrawide, and selfie with bright lenses sounds lovely. The wider-than-usual selfie camera is a staple for the Reno series, but the 18mm lens is wider than last year.
The Oppo Reno15 Pro is very compact
Before we go, let’s do a quick unboxing. Our Reno15 Pro unit comes with a full package – the phone, a clear case, a USB-A to USB-C cable, and an 80W charger.
