Following on its display reveal yesterday, today Nothing has officially confirmed that the upcoming CMF Phone 1 will use the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC just as previously rumored. This supports Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6, and 5G.
The phone will also come with up to 8GB of RAM, but keep in mind that the base model is rumored to sport just 6GB.
To mark day two of the teaser campaign, Nothing has released a video showing Zack from the JerryRigEverything YouTube channel and the device’s mainboard, which is the next step in the (re-)assembly process following the addition of the screen yesterday.
Undoubtedly, tomorrow another component will be added, and so on for seven more days, at the end of which we’ll pretty likely know most, if not all of the upcoming device’s specs, with information coming straight from the brand itself.
The CMF Phone 1 has been rumored to sport a 6.7-inch screen with FHD+ resolution (its 120 Hz refresh rate and 2,000-nit peak brightness already being confirmed by Nothing), 128GB of expandable storage, a 50 MP rear camera and a depth sensor, a 16 MP selfie snapper, and a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 33W fast wired charging. It should run Android 14.
The device will be fully unveiled on July 8, and is expected to start at INR 15,999 in India.
