Scott “Kid Cudi” Mescudi has announced his memoir. The new book, Cudi, will get released on Tuesday, August 5, via Simon & Schuster. According to the book’s description, Cudi is “a story of survival—through depression, addiction, isolation, and doubt.” In addition, the 41-year-old rapper, singer, and actor shared on social media, “Its filled w so much about my journey from my first memory to turning 40. Life lessons, the rager period of my life, and fighting my demons. All the way to the present, where happiness has found me.” See the Cudi-designed book cover below.
Kid Cudi released his debut single, “Day ‘N’ Nite,” in February 2008. His debut mixtape, A Kid Named Cudi, followed in July 2008. The single feature on the mixtape and also Cudi’s debut studio album, September 2009’s Man on the Moon: The End of Day. Cudi has since released albums at a steady clip and also acted in How to Make It in America, Westworld, We Are Who We Are, Bill & Ted Face the Music, Don’t Look Up, X, Parachute, and more.
Kid Cudi released Insano and Insano (Nitro Mega) in 2024. He more recently shared the song “Neverland.”
