Hood Theological Seminary announces its newest degree, the Master of Arts in Christian Ministry (MACM). The Master of Arts in Christian Ministry degree program is designed for students preparing for ministry in Christian denominations that do not require the Master of Divinity (MDiv) degree for ordination. With this degree, students acquire a basic knowledge of how the discipline of theology functions in relationship to Christian living and ministry, they develop a theology of pastoral works that sees, listens to and engages the full global witness of the Christian faith, students learn about theology of both liturgy and preaching that not only coheres with but also illuminates the Christian tradition to which each adheres, and they also evaluate and apply theories of leadership and interpersonal dynamics that foster the health and well-being of a local church or other Christian organizations.
