The 2025 Grammy Awards take place today in Los Angeles, and the biggest names in music are vying for the coveted golden gramophone—or several. Beyoncé enters the day with a whopping 11 nominations—an achievement that brought her career total to 99, and broke her tie with husband Jay-Z. Will tonight mark the first time she takes home Album of the Year?
Post Malone and Kendrick Lamar are sitting pretty with eight and seven nominations, respectively. Repeat Grammy favorites Billie Eilish and Taylor Swift, as well as newcomers Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan, earned six nods each this year, while Charli XCX is competing in seven categories this evening thanks to her wildly popular Brat.
Trevor Noah will handle hosting duties during the main Grammys ceremony for the fifth year running. Performers during the show include Billie Eilish, Charli XCX, Doechii, Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, Shakira, Benson Boone, and Teddy Swims, among several others.
Last year’s Big Four winners were Taylor Swift (Album of the Year), Miley Cyrus (Record of the Year), Billie Eilish (Song of the Year), and Victoria Monét (Best New Artist). The night also included wins for SZA, Karol G, Killer Mike, and more.
