Eva Mendes Details Hiding Second Pregnancy

Eva Mendes is pulling back the curtain on a personal chapter in her life.

The Hitch actress recalled hiding her baby bump from the public while she was pregnant with her second daughter Amada Lee, 9, who she shares with Ryan Gosling, along with Esmeralda Amada, 10.

“2016 — I was hiding my second pregnancy from the public,” Eva wrote on Instagram Jan. 15 while participating in the viral trend of sharing photos from a decade ago, “made some pretty cool biz moves, and heartbreakingly, my brother John passed.”

She added of Amada, who was born on April 29 of that year, “Thank God my youngest was born and saved the family.”

The 51-year-old led her carousel post with a black-and-white photo of herself sitting down with a blanket wrapped around her over which she wrote, “2016 – I was pregnant. This is me hiding my belly.”

Later in the roundup of pictures, she shared a glamorous shot of herself posing in her “first photoshoot post baby,” as well as her “first cover shoot post baby.”
