Chris Martin is not letting history repeat itself.
After he was involved in a viral moment leading to allegations that Astronomer CEO Andy Byron was having an affair with a fellow employee, the Coldplay frontman issued a warning to fans before featuring them on the jumbotron during the July 19 Music of the Spheres concert in Wisconsin.
“We’d like to say hello to some of you in the crowd and put some of you on the big screen,” Chris said onstage, as seen in videos posted to social media, at Camp Randall Stadium. “How we’re going to do that is we’re going to use our cameras and put some of you on the big screen.”
“Please, if you haven’t done your makeup,” he added with a laugh, “do your makeup now!”
Because when the 48-year-old featured an unsuspecting couple holding each other on the big screen at his July 16 show in Massachusetts, the woman immediately turned around and hid her face while the man—identified as the Astronomer CEO—dropped to the floor to hide from the cameras.
