Aphex Twin’s Richard D. James has announced an expanded edition of Surfing on Sine Waves, the sole album credited to his Polygon Window moniker. The 1993 LP—originally released as the second entry in Warp Records’ Artificial Intelligence series—will arrive in 3xLP, CD, and cassette editions on September 26 via Warp. A new tracklist combines the original record and its four-song companion EP Quoth, which came out the same year. Check it out below.
Last year, Aphex Twin reissued his landmark 1994 album Selected Ambient Works Volume II. He also surprise-released Music From the Merch Desk (2016 – 2023), a compilation of limited-edition rarities he’d previously sold as vinyl records on tours between 2016 and 2023.
