First introduced back in 2023, the Circle to Search feature allows you to circle anything on the screen and run a visual search through Google’s Search engine and Google Lens. Ever since its inception, the functionality has been available only on select Samsung devices and Google’s Pixel phones, but that’s about to change.
Reportedly, Tecno has confirmed to a number of reviewers that their recently announced foldable Tecno V Fold 2 will get the Circle to Search feature sometime next month. This, in turn, means that Google is planning to roll out the current Pixel and Samsung-exclusive feature to other phones.
Although this isn’t an official confirmation coming from Google, it’s pretty close to that. And the good news is that the rollout will likely begin as early as October.
