LinkedIn has added more languages to its language support options, which means that you can now engage in the app in over 36 languages in total.
LinkedIn enables users to view the app in their chosen language, while it also offers translation tools to assist in understanding.
And now, it’s added 10 more languages to its core support framework.
As per LinkedIn’s Chief Product Officer Tomer Cohen:
“We’ve expanded our language support to include ten new languages, each representing a vibrant part of our global community: Bengali, Finnish, Greek, Hungarian, Hebrew, Persian, Vietnamese, along with several Indian languages (Marathi, Punjabi, Telugu).”
As noted, that takes LinkedIn’s language support up to 36 languages in total, which will enable many more users, in many more regions, to engage more naturally in the app.

LinkedIn has also offered post translation options since 2018, which are powered by Microsoft’s Text Analytics API, though that soon may also get an AI overhaul to improve the accuracy of its results.
To be clear, your LinkedIn app uses the default language that you’ve set on your mobile device, in order to align with your native language. This setting ensures that all LinkedIn-generated content, including page titles and menus, will display in the language that you select, but member-generated content, including posts, will be displayed in the language that it was written.
So these expanded language options don’t automatically translate all content in the app, but they will make it much easier for people to engage in their preferred voice, and connect with others using the same.
And with LinkedIn hosting over a billion member profiles, from over 200 nations, this is an important update to ensure that all users are able to maximize the app’s various elements.
