It’s easy to get started with the app. You’ll see the current year represented as a circle with each month represented by a flowing dot. The bigger the dots, the more memorable moments you’ve added. To see how you’ve grown, you can swipe between years.
You can add both a highlight or keeping a running total of anything you’re counting this year like books you’ve read. To better organize everything you add, you can customize categories and tag specific people.
To help you write down memories, the app offers a suggestions features with prompts to help inspire entries.
With Shortcuts, you can also ask Siri about your memories.
Glint is a free download now on the App Store for the iPhone and all iPad models.
There is also an optional subscription—Glint Extra. That’s $9.99 yearly with a free, three-day trial. You can also unlock the Extra tier with a lifetime purchase of $19.99.
With that, you can add photos, locations, and URLs to any highlights, create unlimited categories and people, and not view ads.
