Alec Herbert came to Georgia Tech after serving 6 years in the US Army and 4 deployments to Afghanistan, stationed out of Savannah.
Alec decided he wanted to earn a nuclear engineering degree from Georgia Tech, and used the pathway of the Regents Engineering Transfer Program to come to Georgia Tech from Georgia Southern University’s Armstrong Campus in the Savannah area.
