Many of our international students haven’t had the opportunity to experience the tastes of a Thanksgiving table. So we met with Georgia Tech students from Cameroon, Haiti, France, Australia, and Malaysia and gave them the opportunity to try these foods for the first time. Then they rated these six traditional American Thanksgiving dishes – Turkey and gravy, cornbread dressing (or stuffing), sweet potato casserole, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie. What did they think was beetroot jam? Carrot pie? Mashed chicken? Watch for yourself, enjoy, and happy Thanksgiving!
