The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets were a charter member of the Southeastern Conference (SEC) in 1933. They were a regional power that won a lot of important regular season and bowl games. But in the 1960’s, the Yellow Jackets decided to leave the SEC and become a college football Independent. In this video, I try to take a look at why they decided that and the ramifications of it.
