The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets lost a heart breaker, 22-21 to Northern Illinois. After Georgia Tech took the lead in the 4th Quarter, the Huskies scored a touchdown and converted the 2-point conversion for the win. After the Yellow Jackets’ quarterback, Jeff Simms, was injured in the first half, freshman QB Jordan Yates made his college debut. Yates threw for 136 yards and a touchdown and rushed for another TD.
