The Georgia Tech women’s basketball upset the 3rd-ranked UConn Huskies, 57-44 in women’s college basketball play. It was the first time an unranked team has beaten UConn in 240 games dating back to February 18, 2012. The Yellow Jackets defense held UConn, missing star Paige Bueckers with an injury, to 31% shooting in the game. Lotta-Maj Lahtinen led the Yellow Jackets with 15 points. Nerea Hermosa scored 13 and grabbed 6 rebounds, and Lorela Cubaj hauled in 13 rebounds in the win.
