Michigan Wolverines vs Georgia Bulldogs reaction after the College Football Playoffs (Orange Bowl) BUTT WHOOPING that Michigan Football took, 34-11.
Stetson Bennett played great and didn’t have to make a lot of tough decision as Michigan’s secondary was long in the action. As a result of the quick throws, Aidan Hutchinson and David Ojabo were completely taken out of the game as playmakers. James Cook was ridiculously good out of the backfield catching the ball and we did not really have an answer for him.
Offensively, the offensive line had its poorest performance of the season, albeit against the best front seven in the nation. Michigan was not able to get anything going on the ground and both Cade McNamara and J.J. McCarthy had no time at all to throw the ball (and receivers didn’t have time to get open).
Give Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs credit. They came to play and they came with one heck of a game plan.
With all of that said, it was still an excellent season for the Michigan Wolverines and Jim Harbaugh. From 2-4 and looking terrible a year ago, to Big Ten Champions and a lot of momentum heading into 2022. I, for one, still believe it is great to be a Michigan Wolverine. GO BLUE!
