During the college football game between Georgia State and Ball State, a Ball State player got destroyed on a block by a Georgia State player in the first quarter. His mouth piece went flying out and he was down for a while but eventually got up and was able to walk off the field. Initially, Georgia State was called for a targeting penalty but after reviewing the play the refs determined it was a blindside block penalty instead. Georgia State went on to dominate Ball State 51-20 and win the 2021 Camellia Bowl.
