Auburn nearly suffered one of their worst losses in program history when Georgia State took them to the wire in Jordan Hare. Trailing 24-19 with 3 minutes remaining in the game, Auburn QB TJ Finley miraculously led them 98 yards down the field to give them a 27-24 lead with under a minute remaining. Then on the ensuing possession, Georgia State threw a pick six and Auburn took a game sealing 34-24 lead. Auburn went on to win 34-24 over Georgia State.
