Georgia’s 14th Congressional district was created after the 2010 census.

It’s widely considered among the most Republican congressional districts in the country.

Only 2 people have ever held the seat Tom Graves and Marjorie Taylor Greene.

Greene was elected in 2020 she has been in office less than a year and during this year a group of Republicans and Democrats have come out to try to take the seat away.

On Wednesday, we took at some of those people including a Democrat who calls Ringgold, Georgia home, Holly McCormack.

McCormack told me she’s never run for anything.

“I didn’t like the way that I saw things going and when it is happening here where I grew up, and our representation is who it is, then it’s personal to me,” McCormack said.
