Stacey Abrams ended any speculation about her political future on Dec. 1, announcing she’s running for governor of Georgia.
“DC Today” host Del Walters says that sets up a heated rematch against Gov. Brian Kemp, who could find himself being primaried because he’s on the bad side of former President Donald Trump.
Political strategist Dee Dawkins Haigler joins Walters to discuss Abrams’ bid. She says you can feel the excitement in the air in Georgia, especially coming on the heels of Andre Dickens’ mayoral win in Atlanta. “And we know that this time, we will be victorious,” Haigler says in reference to Abrams’ second gubernatorial run.
