Virginia Tech vs. Georgia Tech: The Virginia Tech Hokies shut out Georgia Tech in Atlanta on Saturday by a score of 45-0.  It was the first time that the Yellow Jackets had not scored in a game since 1997.  The Hokies are now 5-0 in games started by Hendon Hooker, who was 9-of-13 for 159 yards passing with a touchdown pass and 2 rushing touchdowns.  Bud Foster’s defense intercepted 2 passes and held GT to 134 total yards and just 8 first downs in the win.
