Virginia Tech got the win on the road over Georgia Tech, 26-17. Quarterback Braxton Burmeister led the way for the Hokies with 248 yards passing and 2 touchdowns and rushed for 48 yards. VT wide receiver Tre Turner caught 7 passses for 187 yards and a touchdown. For the Yellow Jackets, Jahmyr Gibbs rushed for 113 yards on 11 carries in the loss while QB Jeff Sims threw for 183 yards and 2 touchdowns.
